Always Remember That Seatbelt To Save Lives
We always try to make sure we are protected in our homes from possible dangers like fire, burglars or falls, but why do we allow ourselves to get in a vehicle and make the choice not to protect our lives by refusing to fasten our seat belts? It has been proven that more lives are saved by the use of a seatbelt than those who choose not to use them. Do you wear a seatbelt just because it is the law? Or, are you really serious about saving your life?
We think to ourselves sometimes that by not wearing a belt we are the only one affected by it, but this thinking is wrong. Suppose you are in a wreck and you chose not to use a seatbelt, you have no insurance, and no way to pay a hospital bill, who do you think this would affect now? All of us would be affected by your choice not to wear a seatbelt. The hospital has to charge more to others to make up for what you couldn’t pay and then the insurance rates go up. And if you don’t survive because of your choice not to buckle up, your family suffers from the loss of your life and even your income.
We should always remember to buckle up and drive safely every time we step into a vehicle. Our choices affect every body in our lives, and it is not fair to make them suffer just because we do not want to be inconvenienced with a seatbelt. If we are going to be in a vehicle, we need to learn to make responsible choices; and to remember our life is important to us and others. So, always remember that seatbelt to save your life and to make other lives better.
